Where have some of you gone after leaving COV? Intuitive is obvious, as is maybe Baxter. Looking to see what opportunities have opened up from succeeding in our space. Stayed in disposables? Changed niches?
I am looking to get into the Vascular Division in Sales Management. I only have renal clinical and some renal sales management background. Looking to see if my background would be a fit.
Can anyone give me some insights on this division regarding compensation, QOL, promotional opportunities, pipeline, etc? Also, does Covidien have a recruitment department or do they use outside recruiters? Thanks in advance.
Core Vascular is a great place to work, however, there is no "Sales Management" program. Renal sales would help to prepare you for the position since dialysis catheters are part of their bag. Covidien is an outstanding company...I've beeron there for five years and have sold in Vascular as well as Medical Supplies.

Which division did you enjoy more?
That's hard to say. They both have their pluses and minuses. When I was with Vascular, it was a much different environment and the opportunity for big paydays was a bit more prevalent. Medical supplies is a much more commodity sell but the overall culture of the division is much more enjoyable and supportive.
They're both great places to work.
Where is the opportunity you're looking at?
