Unbelievable!!! Consumers should have a choice-and the coupon levels the playing field! I can't stand the way that Insurance Companies- they ARE making HUGE profits- dictate which drugs you can get, which Doctors you see, ETC. This is what it is all about!!! The Insurance companies benefit from patients choosing Generic. People have the right to choose which drugs they want!!!

Pfizer needs to let it go. Lipitor is not protected anymore and less expensive generics are available at reduced costs.
Pfizer had its days of extreme profiteering over a drug that rightly should have gone generic years ago.
If the Insurance companies save money through generics, then it's their right to choose.
Lipitor was never Pfizer's drug to begin with and Pfizer in my mind and many others, is a Big Bully.
