Other Pharmas Are Using Headhunters To Poach Shire Employees

Some coworkers and I have received calls over the past few weeks from headhunters who tell us they know how horrible things are at Shire. One I talked to even knew about FO's Canary Islands letter. It seems other pharmas are trying to poach us. One recruiter even let me vent for about 20 minutes! Has anyone else experienced these calls? And are you getting interviews from them?

True story I've had 2 calls and they talked about hearing how bad things are here.

Recruiters and other companies know how had it is here. Take any call you get

One problem is the longer Shire continues to Shit the bed, the more other comapnies will know how desperate reps are to leave. That means lower offers for people coming from Shire.

I have received a call & it did lead to an interview, same territory but different specialty. Don't be fooled, I told recruiter I wouldn't leave shire for less than a $10k base increase (roughly 10%) and he said no problem.
