The metrics are tired and outdated, simply away of tracking. If they really wanted to drive business they'd let us run our business not dictating metrics

I completely agree EV is anti establishment, anti big pharma. Nice try. Not to mention Shire is TOO CHEAP to hire ANY band.
 


















my boss told me Janis Joplin will be performing. I'm not up-to-date on the new music. I live in the South and listen to Jesus music and country and wear aqua net. Anything I can post on Facebook I will be excited to share.
 












Band? What band? KK is going to go up there and recognize her favorite kiss asses in a powerpoint show but only after talking about herself and what a great meeting she pulled together. She will then stand there gazing out at the audience at the lame golf clap she receives and then after sharing more about her big plans and her expectations will send everyone back to their rooms for a good night's sleep before getting out in the field first thing when you get home...... you know she'll be watching.

That's true, but we aren't fishing. We are creating relationshipa, presenting a new first in class drug to doctors and to their staffs, exploring treatment paradigms for each doctor, coordinating with EHR administrators and more. If a doctor wants to sit down and discuss this exciting new drug. I am not going to watch the time and rush through and out the door. If a call metric is pushed in order to receive bonus what do you think will happen? Some reps have a lot of drive time. Others do not. We are launching at the end of summer when many are out on vacation. We are startung pharmacy calls this week too. There is a LOT that goes into launching a new drug. Having to record 7.5 calls per day is ludicrous. We all want to do well. Give us the freedom to male this happen for our individual territories. If someone obviously not pulling weight, address that person. We are not children. We are experienced reps, hired for or because of that experience.
