Non competes?

Have sales reps non competes been officially eliminated? Can reps finally move to competitive companies that offer a better situation? If iron clad non competes have been eliminated this could open the door for aesthetic companies to get back to actually compensating reps while having the expectation of setting realistic quotas…if not, reps can just start jumping ship. I hope the leadership teams across the industry are all nervous about this.

Non competes are no longer enforceable which should create a competitive environment. The thing is, Galderma, Allergan, Merz etc are all in the same boat.

they’re all missing their numbers so no one is making money. W the playing field even, no one is leaving which creates zero openings so everyone stays frozen. This industry and the dilution w more competitive entrants only serves biz owners and companies like ours, race straight to bottom of the pricing scale in an attempt to keep marketshare w old products. An voila, we ALL lose.

you’re welcome aesthetic industry!

But the launch of a new company (Hugel) and new fillers coming to Evolus should start to create more openings and a more competitive environment potentially set to benefit the employee. It only takes one player to be disruptive.

Evil us is hiring all the hotties. We are being stuck with all the old hags who are aging out. Let’s all ge honest. It ain’t pretty round here. A lot of hard looking injected faces making Michael Jackson look attractive

The law isn't effective yet (120 days) and is going to be held up with some lawsuits as well. But going in the right direction.

The US Aesthetic market is about to become a lot more challenging. New entrants, downward price spiral, no innovation from the big players, softening demand. With every new filler approved by the FDA it’s going to get tougher. Galderma, Merz and Allergan are all under increasing pressure as they can only lose share.
