I understand that vacation during launch is discouraged but if the launch is planned for the last 2 weeks of August, then why should we be discouraged from using our vacation time in June and July?
Very strange coming from leadership that can't give a date for Q4 bonus payout, can't provide accurate weekly data, can't provide solid information about new territory alignments.
If our leadership thinks the success of this launch is based on whether or not reps take vacation they are more seriously deficient than we know.
Exactly. I came over from b&l & KC had only been a district manager for a year or so before Kathy brought him over here and made him a ZD....than less than a year later he's promoted into an even bigger spot & is now running the entire division... even tho his zone finished dead last his only year on the job. That makes perfect sense though, because we're a performance based company, right?! We reward performers?! How gritty and nimble of him to accept that promotion knowing he hadn't earned it.
This is the same guy who refused to adjust payouts even though it was acknowledged a mistake had been made in Q3 and than did a (small) downsize after telling everyone there would be no downsizing and actually a small expansion. Suggested no more holiday week off even though every year since the division was created has shown the same drop off- and for most of those years we worked that week. Rocket science!
I love the benefits and a lot of the people here but i am definitely open to new opportunities for the first time in my 10+ years here. The leadership is just disastrous.
