No Winter Break or Vacation. I Luv KC

I understand that vacation during launch is discouraged but if the launch is planned for the last 2 weeks of August, then why should we be discouraged from using our vacation time in June and July?
Very strange coming from leadership that can't give a date for Q4 bonus payout, can't provide accurate weekly data, can't provide solid information about new territory alignments.

If our leadership thinks the success of this launch is based on whether or not reps take vacation they are more seriously deficient than we know.

Exactly. I came over from b&l & KC had only been a district manager for a year or so before Kathy brought him over here and made him a ZD....than less than a year later he's promoted into an even bigger spot & is now running the entire division... even tho his zone finished dead last his only year on the job. That makes perfect sense though, because we're a performance based company, right?! We reward performers?! How gritty and nimble of him to accept that promotion knowing he hadn't earned it.

This is the same guy who refused to adjust payouts even though it was acknowledged a mistake had been made in Q3 and than did a (small) downsize after telling everyone there would be no downsizing and actually a small expansion. Suggested no more holiday week off even though every year since the division was created has shown the same drop off- and for most of those years we worked that week. Rocket science!

I love the benefits and a lot of the people here but i am definitely open to new opportunities for the first time in my 10+ years here. The leadership is just disastrous.

Most of the leaders at this company have more lawsuits to their credit than they do awards.
 






These new territories are ridiculous. No work life balance. What happened to little disruption? New customers before a launch? No vacation no Christmas break!!! You will lose good people
 






A full page of "TALKING POINTS" to discourage vacation for June. July, August and September. They should put that much explanation around these new territories. What a bunch of clowns running this show.

What a disturbing memo of talking points. It implies that managers should coerce reps not to take vacation. Most coercive acts are done using fear and threats. Very slimey.
 












Why doesn't tank bot communicate to us directly instead of having the RDs do his dirty work for him. Listen, things happen he didn't create the IC blunder, outrageous market forecasts, PDUFA date in June, etc. etc. BUT a REAL leader stands up and leads during htese times, remember what he said during his first cc when he was named our leader??? He said he would communicate and over communicate because he wanted to be transparent and honest.

BUNCH of BS, he hides in his office or on a plane, the only thing fake will be the smiles and handshakes he gets from now on, you have lost the sales force
 






Spoke to my RD about this idiot KC and the email... they confirmed the email is real but I was told our team would not be getting the email because my RD refuses to send out such a stupid request and they would not feel right asking their team to abide by what it requests... my RD is a true leader who cares about their people... KevCow is garbage who cares less about any us.. he can put on a forced smile and Pat us on the back and tell us he cares but his actions prove he doesn't give a rats assistance about us or our customers

My team has all seen the email by text message but have not received and email or heard a word from our RD about it... I have a great RD as well and would be shocked if he forwarded that crap from KC... he did explain the territories to us as well.. he said they don't make sense, he wasnt sure why territories got bigger not smaller, he didn't know why leadership thinks reps can't handle calling on adult and pediatric docs... his explanation was our leadership at corporate doesn't know our business and therefore doesn't know what's best for business. He did say we all have to make the best of it and he will be required to hold us accountable.... I appreciate his honesty and don't mind workingredients for him... really don't like lining FO, PS, and especially that flunky KC's pockets... is there one person that can give a good answer on how he got this job besides knowing PS and Kk... I've been with several companies over 18 years. He is the worst and it isn't even close. No this isnt fake news from a troll. This is a concerned very real employee

It's the same old story with PS. He brings in people who at best can be a mediocre RD (I'm talking first line managers here) and he makes room for them by forcing out other good people who really know the business. Thats exactly what he did with KK and that other chick who was a KAM that they brought to Lexington only to have her push someone else out and land back in the midwest while taking a step down. I don't know, maybe she couldn't handle it up there in Lex? The worst part is, after these locusts get here, he then pushes them up through the system into jobs they cannot handle or are smart enough to handle. This is exactly what you saw with KK and now with KC. When KK interviewed to come here, she was ranked dead last by the interview team, but Perry pulled his shenanigans got his friend in HR to sign off on the deal. Hell no one wants her in their BU because she kills the culture almost overnight.

This company is rotten because of people like PS and his band of misfit toys. KC will be the first to tell you he came here because of PS. Your only recourse unfortunately is get out while you can or get forced out and take the package. They had to pay off a lot of people because the lawsuits have been plenty with this crew. Google it and see!

Kk is much more qualified than kc... I'm not her biggest fan but reps did make $$$ with her as was mentioned on here previously... KC really is awful. With all the money Shire wastes on 3rd party vendors (company they hired to do realignment did a great job) they should hire someone to evaluate KC on stage... he is definitely olive garden shift manager material

You think KK had anything to do with reps making money? Then you are just the naive type she thrives on. PS played the game of winning over the field forth when he got here by paying out bonuses, adjusting goals and telling you how great you are. It was all a ruse. When KK eventually started she complained how much people were making in salary. If it was up to her she would hire recent college kids and pay them a third of what you make.

I don't think Kathy was/is that bad. Kevin is that bad. Giving someone a chance is not bad. Leaving them there if they don't prove themselves is a problem. I wish people could understand that some people make the most of opportunities given to them. Kevin has not and needs to go. I will never think Perry is bad leader for giving Kevin a shot. I will think Perry is bad if he doesn't get rid of him. You could close your eyes and point at the map of the country. No matter where your finger landed you could take that rep covering that area and give them Kevin's job and they would probably be better but definitely wouldn't be worse. A few of the reps would be awful at the job which would put them as equals with Kevin. The Q3 non adjustment by Kevin was it for me. That took a lot of money and the consistent performer award off the table for a lot of people.

First of all, KK IS THAT BAD. And while you think PS is some noble leader who advances the development of those he promotes, you better think again. PS came to Shire, fired every one of his leadership team and then brought in much less qualified people. PS is everything that is wrong with Shire. You complain about KC on stage, have you every watched PS present? It's an embarrassment. He can't even pronounce the products correctly.
 






This is a classic example of lack of clear communication leading to piss poor leadership. Gary may have had his faults but one area I did admire about him was his expectation that communication was clear and cascaded flawlessly. What do you have here? The lack of communication, timing and how it is cascaded will create 3 times more damage during this launch. You cannot blame KC for the timing of the launch, it is what it is, bit come man show some GRIT be NIMBLE be a leader and lead, he continues to hide
 






Kevin was not qualified to be my zone director... most in his zone knewith this. We all hugged and congratulated him when he became the interim sales director know there was no way he would keep the gig. We were shocked when he was given the position permanently but of course hugged and smiled and sent messages to him telling him he deserved it and would do a good job. It really does come down to who you know nothat what you know... Kevin has proven over and over he does not understand our product, disease state, physician offices, territories, and especially TRENDS in our market. Kind of want us to work this year between Christmas and new Years to show him how ignorant he is to facts...

I can honestly say I don't remember what he said then or at any meeting he has spoke at or any conference call when he was my ZD... any time he is talking I'm sleeping... kudos to you for staying awake and remembering that. You must have a great call continuum
