No Winter Break or Vacation. I Luv KC

The sooner you realize that all you are in the NBU is an expendable resource hired to drive sales then you will understand that they do not care what you think how you feel or if you are engaged.

Screwed us with goals last year, admitted they over forcasted and then scolded anyone who said that publicly. No one made money but vyvnase brought in $2 billion so you know those folks on the bottom of Perry's pyramid made money, screwed with our IC, territories, and RDs this year, that is the holy grail of the 3 things you do not change, ALL of the numbers are messed up as of today, goal attainment isnt correct, they have RDs filling out spreadsheets to correct managed care data but hey they don't care because they will still get paid. Funny how Perry brings in his cronies to run the BU and everyone can see through their incompetence, this launch will be fun, I am going to smile with a big fake smile, and then enjoy my summer
 






All valid points on this thread but I do want to point out how critical everyone always was of kk on here. At least with her we made money and now her eye division reps are making Bank. Only reason why I think corporate would even hire KC is because he is an unqualified tool that they know they can push around...
PS & FO:Hey Kevin we aren't going to be giving big payouts to your reps this year because we need to funnel all that money they bring in to cover the costs of our mistakes we purchased and to line our own pockets...

Hey KC not to worry... I've already told my husband and kids not to get sick during the months of june-September. I told my parents and grandparents(the ones still living) not to die during my launch. I also told my brother to cancel his wedding in August because I got a triple bead to sell. Kind of happy about that last one because his fiance used to the town bicycle... everyone got a ride

No it is true... I didn't believe it either but a coworker took a picture of the email and texted it to me. I forwarded it on. Not sure when my RD is sending. Hope there are no ladies pregnant due or husbands who have a pregnant wife due over the summer... if that is the case just tell that fetus to get grit and to stay in there and then walk around in a nimble manner until after this launch. *Make sure all Shire babies are born between October 1 and December 25th. We need to work the week after Christmas so numbers don't tank
 






Not to mention they also took our sick days from 10 down to only 8 this year. 8 sick days!!!! What a joke!!! So no worries about those vacation days you can't use from June-September, or that you can't carry ANY of them over anymore, you can use those vacation days when you or your children get sick. Again, just not between June-September.

Over half my team had that email message texted to them by the time we were off work yesterday.... still have not got the email but it is legit and did come from KC... He never does say you can't take vacation he just recommend you reconsider doing so for the good of the company/launch
 












Those that did not receive the email probably have normal managers that were shielding them from how rediculous it is. Let's take away 2 personal day, 2 sick days, potentially take away your winter break, and now tell you not to take vacation during all four summer months. Yep, seems to make sense to me. I'm not sure if it is possible to be any less motivating.

I understand that vacation during launch is discouraged but if the launch is planned for the last 2 weeks of August, then why should we be discouraged from using our vacation time in June and July?
Very strange coming from leadership that can't give a date for Q4 bonus payout, can't provide accurate weekly data, can't provide solid information about new territory alignments.

If our leadership thinks the success of this launch is based on whether or not reps take vacation they are more seriously deficient than we know.
 












Shire leadership should proactively plan around launch meetings since Neuro BU is making them so much $$$.

Employees and HCPs with children will always take vacations during summer when kids are out of school! No common sense!!
