We are no better than Wright. Any company looking closely at us will realize what a shit show we and would be smart to quickly put their checkbook away. Smith & Nephew is also a shit show too but they are bigger and have more money. They will also buy Wright before us both being headquartered in the same town. Stryker or J&J more probably would buy us.
 






At least Integra is profitable. But you can take it to the bank they will never ever develop a quality ortho product internally.
Which means the Small joint part of their business is dying a slow death. Why? Bc of what I said above and the inability to by a truly impactful extremity company. Integra is just too small.
Sure they have a market leading total wrist. That is like having a market leading 3 wheel car. Not a big market and maybe 100 sold a year. In the world. Whoopie.
Integra is who should be acquired.
 






Integra is proof you can't back your way into metal. At this point there are only two realistic options: buy in big or get out altogether. The piecemeal approach simply doesn't work.
 






The Gooch recently told me they are working on making an all in one pyro-carbon ex-fix/total ankle/subtalar/TMT/IP/TTC fusion with an optional bunion. That it will be the most novel earth shattering product in the lower extremity world! My response clearly was it would never work!! Why he asked?? Well Gooch, it's because you don't know shit about our business. Happy new year.
 












If you want to want to be micro managed, get a call from your manager everyday the last 2 wks of the yr and last three weeks of each quarter asking how much business you are gong to bring in even through you are over plan. Want to be told no vacations before or after the Christmas holidays, wait 4 or more weeks to get paid on expenses. Then this is the place for you. Most of the sales force has had it and is starting to interviewing. The entire business is micromanaged. And if you do blow your number out you have to overcome the higher number the next year and make no money. Integra is not a god place to land and will be getting worse.
 












I will attest to the above comments. I am a top performing rep at this stupid company and could not hate it more. Everything is a cumbersome archaic process that goes in circles. What kind of place in this industry treats their sales force like such shit. Customer service is more valued. I could throw up
