NBU Zone POA'S

The only reason it could be is that the RX's aren't coming in. Mydayis isn't performing up to the Hype. I have a feeling neither is Vyvanse. Hence the OBU having meetings as well. Xiidra is not going to hit the mark either. They think meetings are going to jump start things. But that is leadership for you. They have no clue how to motivate people.... they can't think outside the box, their initial knee jerk solution is another meeting, pour more money down the drain rather than in the pockets of the people who drive business. This is why they aren't really leaders. Leaders motivate... Leaders inspire, leaders are trustworthy. Shire leadership has none of these.

Amen!
Well said!
We have no leaders only 2 groups of managers- those that think they know it all (yet have no evidence to support that) and those who are so spineless they won't ever speak of what they know

All true but what are you going to do about it? Leave if you don't like it. We will wish you luck though you won't succeed at your next company either...[/QUOT

Leave we will at the first opportunity. No need to wish anyone luck at their next company. People aren't looking for 'luck" they are looking for an organization that has leadership and direction.

You- the original poster- need 'luck' plus a reality check and a good backbend to pull your head out of your arse.

Don't start that B.S.
The words NBU leadership and encouraging don't go together
Bring back DB and CES. Maybe even GC. Those people knew what a POA was for and took advantage of the opportunity to motivate us and show support. Shire jumped the shark in early 2015 and is NEVER coming back as long as we have this crop of shitheads leading it.

Am i in the twilight zone? Did i really hop on a $1000 flight and stay overnight in a $200 hotel for that... several of us were just shaking our heads. Nice to know what Mark and Kevin did with the bonus money they STOLE from us with 1 week left in the quarter. Not sure daddy would have approved the use of that money Mark.

If they aren’t flying from place to place they would have nothing else to do. These meetings are more about saving their jobs, not motivating the sales force.

A lot of $$$ wasted by our moron leaders this week.

You guys just don't get it. It's all about doing what's best for the business and P/L. "Stealing" bonus $ didn't pay for this meeting.
An accountant probably told them they could save $$ by having a "meeting/training"- thus the certification.
This is construed as a TAX WRITEOFF!
I'd venture to guess that's truly what the meetings were about ..
But that's just a guess....

Spot on. There is money allocated annually to meetings and there is no way that botched attempt of a launch broke the budget this past summer. So they had to have meetings last week.

I took a lot out of this meeting however. (Hotel room soap, shampoo and conditioner, I grabbed some hangers, towels, and a bathrobe as well.

Those items are your third quarter bonus.

Lol... that is good. I only got a couple towels and a good steak dinner out of the meeting

I have to agree, complete waste of time and money. Whether it was in the budget or not...total waste of money! Really, if you just paid the field force the big dollars you would get the big returns.

Pretty sad if this is true. "The meeting is a task write-off"..."let's get the sales force together so we can parade around like bantam roosters" said our leadertwits.
Never mind that the entire sales force COULD HAVE BEEN SELLING instead of feeding the egos of the leadertwit team.
