I told her we will be sold as the Vyvanse team has worked so hard. She doesn't know why. She is begging me to not spend money before Christmas. We have never been laid off. We have dealt with so much. Too much. Please say it ain't say. What should I do?

Do you have an adequate emergency fund?
Maybe try getting in the site PersonalCapital and review your finances.
Also consider getting on one of the Financial independence/retire early sites where you can learn some extreme saving techniques.
And of course, update your resume and start attending networking events.
