It really doesn't matter what it is called - the real issue is that you and many others are gone July 1. Happy times are here again. I personally can't wait until this project is desolved so I can move up two or three rungs on the corporate ladder and enjoy the perks that come with the elevation.

Suddenly a "15" is worried about a layoff? why? because they know they have no skills and the chances that they will be able to find employment that pays this well for so little work is...well those chances have sailed. Be prepared for: "I see Merck on your resume. Why'd you stay there so long?" And oh how your skills have declined during your long "15" nap. "Living the 15 life" indeed. Well there's always those retail sales jobs. Good luck in your career search.

What is your strategy now that the ipad is tracking us? How are you "working" around it (no pun intended)?

Go to settings>privacy>location services>off. I did this day one and nobody has said a word to me. I don't think they are going to fire an employee for turning off location services. I don't believe that they are spending the time and money to track reps in the first place. I really think it's a scare tactic and I really don't care anymore.

We've gotten crap raises, been lied to countless times, are losing our NMIP points and bonus has been reduced. For that, I have been giving them a solid 10-12 hours of work per week.

I can't tell you how many times I have been in a conference call while on the golf course! I just wish they wouldn't schedule them on Fridays because I don't work on Friday!

I also turned my location services off and got the memo from security that I was in violation. Turned it on - just don't care. I leave it at home everyday anyway. Track that.

Middle of the pack? High performer? You obviously do not have samples.

There is seriously something wrong with a person who can get joy from watching someone losing their home - or worse, playing a part in the chain of events that leads to it! I've worked with people I could not stand on a personal or professional level. One made my life an absolute living hell day-to-day but when he announced he was walking out with no job waiting I actually cautioned him against such a rash move. I knew his family and I couldn't help but think of how much they would suffer for such a poorly planned action.

People fire themselves most of the time through poor performance or attitude but this layoff stuff is pretty indiscriminate. Those who take joy in watching others suffer have some serious mental issues.

Everyone is buzzzzzzzing that you need to have better traction on your wheels....and your seat too!

With all the tracking anyone who is taking flying by the seat of their pants lightly is likely to lose their pants!!! No pants and no home is not a good thing....so get movin' and wear a belt too!

What a great summer! Sorry I haven't been on here much lately. Been golfing a ton and traveling quite a bit too.

My manager has been confiding in me lately about all the BS of his job. He is at the point where he really does not care much anymore either. He told me that we have to go along with any projects or information our DCO wants. He just does not want to look bad in our DCO's eyes. So, if we can make him look like he is doing a good job, and our numbers are OK, he is cool with that. He knows that at this point it's just all a big game and as long as we play along we will be fine.

This is music to my ears! I'm way ahead of the curve here since I have been playing this game for a long, long time......

This 15x15 lifestyle is gonna be an even better gig now than it ever was......
