Seems, our resident KGB agent forgot to tip off his second chief directorate that he was about to send out this zinger. See to him mergers, downsizing, layoffs are just the price of doing business. Immediately, sending out an email basically telling you not to think ahead about your lively hood, your families and the change that the upcoming IPO would bring to you. His message was we have a lot of work to do to make sure Mydayis launches and that the IPO brings a good price. You can worry about your families, your mortgage etc later.
Team members started talking to team members and news has further made it up the later and there has been an immediate call at the home office for a plan for some misdirection headed your way in the next day or two that is intended to assure you that nothing has been decided, and they are just rethinking strategy ALL FOR YOUR BENEFIT. ALL because our performance has been so good!!! I want to tell you that an IPO is not likely til the beginning of the year. No matter what they will tell you or how they spin it once an IPO hits the open market we are subject to a takeover and it doesn't matter who likes it or not.Most likely a takeover bid doesn't happen til February. I urge you all to forget about this launch as you will only be setting it up for the rep of the other company that slides into your shoes. You have 6 months to be selective and find another job. Not just a turd of a job that will fill a void. Don't just sit there and follow marching orders like they want you to. Do not be misguided. Update your resume. Talk to recruiters, old colleagues and plan on getting out of here.
