merk hospital layoffs-nobodys talkin

<

why isnt anyone talking about the potentially massive layouts being decided on Dec 9th. if you are in this division, are you worried?

"Massive layoffs"? The hospital division has like 300 people, its small. Even if there is a 50% reduction, that's only 150 people, which is insignificant relative to the size of the total sales force. Besides, this group has been known as the over-the-hill hardly-working team for a long time. Well them and IAM.

That describes at least half of Merck, top to bottom.

Not worried because they are paying out big package for me to do nothing for next 1.5 years. Great deal!

How stupid do you have to be? You think there are tons of jobs out there with Covid? You get laid off and you will be lucky to get back into pharma. No one wants to hire a laid off lazy person sitting at home for a year.

Just smart. Hit magic number last year and riding off into the sunset with the golden handshake. You millennials better figure out other income streams. Oh wait...you still rent?
