Noticed several long tenured legacy Synthes folks recently announcing leaving DS. All are 20 yr or more veterans. None would be leaving on their own considering the lucrative pension and heath care benefits everyone still there is hanging on for... Based on the recent uptick in departures (resignations/terminations), is J&J systematically purging high income and tenured employees to avoid paying out expensive long term entitlements? It just seems too coincidental that all these tenured folks would suddenly decide to leave all at once. I hope, at least, their severance packages are rich. The old saying "You don't grow gray at J&J," might ring true after all.
