It is the same old thing at every week long meeting we suffer through! They should have just had a teleconference and showed video clips from the last meeting only a few weeks ago! They could have saved alot of money! And maybe put it towards the launch bonus!!!! I want my wasted weeks back too!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 






the largest and loudest crowd reaction was when KC told us- the NBU- that we were putting a "pause" on project 20/20. KC even pointed out that we cheered louder for that than launch plan IC plan.
Senior leadership got zero positive reaction from the field- no standing o's all week.
Michael Phelps deservedly got a huge crowd reaction. Great public speaker
 












A gathering of a bunch of joyless downtrodden reps fed on lies and cocktail snacks for days, herded into general sessions to watch marketing and home office whack themselves off on stage while sipping unshared champagne.

I too moved my hands and only pretended to clap.

They must have told the DJ to turn the music way up when they entered and exited the stage so the lack of applause would not be so obvious
 


















the meeting showcased how disconnected the home office is from field sales.

Would love to have a been a fly on the wall when these clowns had lengthy discussions on how cool it would be (for them) to make a carpool karaoke video, and mimic late tv night shows. The fact that they thought we would enjoy seeing them living out their arrogant fantasies is proof as to just how delusional they are.

So sad that there is such a lack of accountability at that level. And sickening to think how much money they wasted to celebrate themselves.

All kidding aside, I rate the meeting a 7. Some sessions were great and some were just Ok. I wish the spin off would have been more definitely addressed but understand the sensitivity of potential acquirers.

There was such a nice Q & A Session before the opening ceremonies...

Wait, I mean there was an opening defense strategy session. 3 canned queations; none were answered directly.

Even the last specific ? About how pay/benefits would affect current sales force? The reply; the global company has plenty of cash flow... blah blah blah
Just like a politician, never answered the question.

But, I must admit my fav was the fact they admitted to "milking" the NBU since '13; but now since we have such an attractive pipeline in he NBU, we may need "help" to commit to the NBU and give it its true ability to shine???
U think we are dumb? We knew u were taking he NBU and proceeds to fund your "specialty" rare disease company and its acquisitions.. Now, if you would've kept NBU $ in the NBU, different ballgame.

They were startling out of touch during this meeting. The thin veneer started to fade when Perry's greasy snake oil salesman act took place at the last meeting; lisping and slithering across stage he thanked all those who "stood by HIM *hiss* and believed that the NBU was important *hiss*"

Fools, the bulk of us. Not for lack of intelligence, more for want of the old Shire or for those who are newer, what they were sold on when they joined.

The curtain lifted we all wondered, "Why do I care to see a commercial on Times Square that really only benefits the egos of those who keep me firmly squashed under boot?"

"Why do I care about some champagne cork that a silver spoon bint waxes poetic about?" Coddled in daddies arms with breast milk still visible on his privalaged chin?

They will say that the hard work will mean it will save our jobs but it won't. They couldn't even muster up a launch to get us excited or fooled. It was a big cluster of them basically saying goodbye to each other while sales people were expected to participate, slacked jawed and dumb.

Agreed- my kids still use the PS3 that we got at that meeting..
But Hell ..... all 3 launches that i was at were great (including Daytrana)
Sounds like the bar has been dropped quite a bit!

The xiidra launch was great but many things sucked too. Imagine spending a week at a great hotel with little time to enjoy it, and spending a week with Kathy.
