I was told by trusted colleagues not to post a recording from NSM. Just another layer that they might be able to track. I let them listen to it though even though they already knew what he had said. If you don't believe Kevin lied about our Mydayis then you were either not in the meeting or he had put you to sleep while he was on stage. The latter is understandable as he has a way of boring people to sleep up there

This is the correct response... leave Shire if you don't want to be lied to. You will be lied to at your next company as well. Maybe not as often but it will happen. I am willing to deal with the lies and incompetent individuals leading us because overall I still like my job though I don't enjoy it as much as I used to. I am worried the grass may not be greener on the other side. FO PS MR and the biggest idiot of all KC are as bad if not worse than described on this board. Someone visiting the sight
 






Might think that the leadership can't be all that bad. Hard to believe but they all are that bad. We truly have the worst of the worst running our company. With that said you don't deal with them on a daily basis in the field and they can't ruin your life. Unless they continue ruining the company until it all goes bye bye. That is a possibility as well

I get it, but it really sucks for people who never wanted to work here and had to come over when our company got purchased. I know, I know... and myself and most of my colleagues ARE getting out. But to your point of the grass may not be greener, I have seen greener. A LOT greener. And I still have hope there are companies out there that appreciate and understand what we do.

Thank you for that comment. I am in the same situation. I never interviewed with Shire. Your genius CEO and now unfortunately mine decided to buy our good company, and overpay he did. Trust me there is grass much much greener. I am interviewing with one company now and pray they offer me. I do need this job until I find another but this leadership at Shire starting with the CEO are unbelievably awful.

I got dragged here from Baxalta too. I shake my head reading some of these comments and how much Shire sales reps put up with. There's no chance this culture will be any better than it is with the current leadership and the sales force allowing things to transpire the way they are. I guess it's easy to say that though. We came from a culture where the head of sales used to call reps and see how things were going. I miss that and most are looking for something like that again.

Please don't give our head of sales any ideas. The last thing we want is to ha e to talk to the moron. Seeing him twice a year, listening to him on a few conference calls, and reading some if his emails are more than enough for us. The less the better. If we had a real leader that would be one thing but these idiots can't help us with their "nimble" minds

I couldn't agree more. Being from Baxalta, the last thing I would ever want is one of the Shire senior leadership ever calling me.

Not all divisions of shire (the ones they bought from other companies), are lunch delivery/big pharma bullshit. Although leadership is trying to make us into this, seeing its all they know. It will happen, but we are fighting our hardest against it.

Hadn't been on here since NYC and just read the most frequent threads... That Mark and his dad news was old to me. A co-worker brought that up to me over a year ago. Still makes me sick tho. Kevin lying about Mydayis Q3 bonus was brought up in our breakout room. Our RD's response "it is what it is." This information about buddies at corporate helping their friends is new to me. Please cut the B.S. if this isn't true. If it is and has been going on for this rep for a couple years why am I just now hearing about it. I really hope this is a troll making this up. I did look up the reps #'s this quarter and it does look suspect but sometimes people get lucky 1 quarter every few years.

GEP was the priority from the beginning of the qtr. Does anyone at corporate use a calendar or calculator? BC last time I checked 6 weeks in the field does not equal 2/3 of the qtr. I feel bad for the PED reps, they had 2x the targets for xiidra and Kevin stood on stage and "tried" to sell them how they would make up for the GEP kit difference in pay out with it. I guess its just another way to not pay the sales force on both sides now. And another sad example of our poor leadership team.

Contract rep here. Kevin,Mark and Perry are the finest leaders and my contract will be extended into 2020 and beyond. We do a much better close that PED legacy reps, who are slow, old and lacking people skills to deal with the younger prescribers.

I've seen that too, certain reps never see their goals go up. They lose market share yet they are killing it.
