In order to protect investors confidence and maintain the net worth of the company reductions are going to be extensive the only safe haven will be oncology. All in anticipation of the government requirement for drug bidding for medicare/medicaid. Reductions will commence in June and completed by years end. Hope this helps

Read the Merck stock holder documents you should have received in the mail. It states by the end of 2017 that there will be "substantial" cuts and the money ($700 million) will mainly (I believe it said 2/3rds) go to pay employee separation costs. It's in black and white.

Talk about an oxymoron: Merck and a "Selling Model". Nothing that a Merck Primary Care rep does these days resembles "Selling". Of course, guess that's why you need the training. must be a doozy of a selling model because we didn't have a 5 hour teleconference about the new commercial model or any of the others that I remember.
