FAKE NEWS!! The folks that were fired over he past two days were poor performers. It was NOT a layoff!! No RDs were fired and those with vacant territories are charged with hiring proven winners. Shire is not toxic but is an organization that demands stellar performance. Its like the Marines, only a few are chosen! Other pharma companies don't demand excellence so the average or below average performer can coast in their sales jobs for a number of years. Here at Shire, Y'all need to hit the road running. This is the way business must be conducted to achieve SUCCESS. Some may say the firings were heartless but we can not afford to give out participation trophies!! Goo Selling!

The why is the stock price lower today than it was when Flem took over as CEO? And why is the value of the company lower than the value of Shire plus Baxalta prior to the merger? High performance my big fat ASS!
