Idorsia contract

Please explain why Idorsia would not want us calling on everyone (targets and non-targets) during a launch?
And why are we just finding this out-that we are only paid on targets- 1 month into the trimester? This is so frustrating!

People this place sucks so badly. Every damn thing about this contract is horrible. I have a final interview Friday with another company and I can’t wait to get the hell out of this craziness.

..They'll end up paying on non-targets, just like they did in T2. ..Wouldn't be ethical otherwise.

When two non-target docs accompany a target doc at an office lunch or speaker program, we give them them the same attention w/ respect to detailing etc.. ..How could they justify not paying us for that? ..But they tell us they won't so we focus on targets.

I just had an interview and was told directly by hiring manager that I will only be paid on targets

DSMs on the East coast? Any to watch out for? I am looking at a role in a couple
different regions as I can relocate so I wonder if there is anyone to stay away from.

You should worry more about how bad the job is and that they are doing a massive re-hiring after only a few months into the launch. A good manager won't save you.

Is every region feeling this way? Manager specific?

The problems aren't due to the managers. Most of the managers are great. Have you not read any of the 87 pages of what's going wrong here? The drug isn't selling, people were given threatening warning letters just 2.5 months into the launch, there are probably 200 to 300 too many reps here, the drug is third in line with 2 that already failed past 5 years, no Medicare, no samples, micromanaging hell, and bad insurance system. That's just to name a few issues. There are more.

What a great regional meeting we just finished. Q going for 1st line therapy, creating a developmental program for reps to advance to managers and above when the average rep age is 50 years old, skating through the IC slide that says if you are on warning letter you are not eligible for bonuses, left overs for most meals, mentioning collapsing numerous territories when we are being told how great Q is doing, and a 25 dollar per rep for district dinners. This is a great place to be!
