How IC Payments are made

GI didn't get paid either. Another "glitch"....

This means shire doesn't have the money. They will have to sell vyvanse to pay off their debt it's the only way. Literally everyone needs to get out of here asap. FO has created such debt here he can't even pay out multiple divisions bonuses on the same day. This is out of control

Not having money to pay out bonus on a schedule they sent out 6 months ago would have sounded impossible a year ago at this company. Now it is honestly a surprise to nobody. For,the 1000th time, this company is run horribly.
Realize this is now accepted and "normal". It will never stop happening if it helps the company in the slightest way. No respect for its employees

I hope this isn't Valeant 2.0. Does anybody know the cash flow/debt situation of this company? I don't probably should

From online article at SimplyWall.st :

"Does SHP [Shire] face the risk of succumbing to its debt-load?

What is considered a high debt-to-equity ratio differs depending on the industry, because some industries tend to utilize more debt financing than others. A ratio below 40% for large-cap stocks is considered as financially healthy, as a rule of thumb. SHP’s debt-to-equity ratio stands at 68.96%, which indicates that its debt can cause trouble for the company in a downturn but it is still at a manageable level. We can test if SHP’s debt levels are sustainable by measuring interest payments against earnings of a company. Ideally, earnings should cover interest by at least three times, therefore reducing concerns when profit is highly volatile. SHP’s interest on debt is sufficiently covered by earnings as it sits at around 6.12x. Lenders may be less hesitant to lend out more funding as SHP’s high interest coverage is seen as responsible and safe practice.

How does SHP’s operating cash flow stack up against its debt?

LSE:SHP Historical Debt Sep 15th 17
A simple way to determine whether the company has put debt into good use is to look at its operating cash flow against its debt obligation. This is also a test for whether SHP has the ability to repay its debt with cash from its business, which is less of a concern for large companies. Last year, SHP’s operating cash flow was 0.16x its current debt. This means, over a tenth of SHP’s near term debt can be covered by its day-to-day cash income, which somewhat reduces its riskiness to its debtholders."

This is so disturbing, disgraceful and disgusting.

Shire should be embarrassed. There should have been advanced notice and it should have come from the top.
Complete loss of confidence in this leadership team and company.

I agree. Where is Perry now? Top of the pyramid speaking? He carried the bag as he always reminds us, so would he have been upset to have his bonus delayed as well? (We know delayed incentives do not happen for him now, being a high level executive)

Since this happened for the OBU, what about comments from our newest 2 execs? What's wrong, cat got your tongue? A glitch in your email ability to send out an explanation or forewarning? Mike and John, are you trying to set the bar so low that it can't get much worse before your leadership begins?

Home office, since many of you read this board, how about you chime in?
