How IC Payments are made

When you understand the process for payouts you learn Shire has known about this for a week. Yes, that's right. They have known for a week they weren't going to pay our Q2 IC earnings today as scheduled or should I say promised. Every one of us has this date on our calendar. It's what we work for. Our motivation to go beyond, to make that extra call on a rainy day.

Why are we getting a message from HR at 8am payday?
Why no message of warning?
Does Perry have laryngitis? Are all 10 fingers broken?
What about our new guys? No word from them?
Where are our ZDs? We all know these people knew we weren't getting paid.

You think morale has been low?

You think Glassdoor ratings are low?

Most of us have been in pharma for many years. How often has this happened in all the companies you've been with?
Zed, zero, nada, none, never.
 




































All I have to say is goal methodology needs to change. Goals are still being jacked up because of the mysterious untapped potential which is the ER runway. Mmm if you think about it what makes up the ER runway, mostly AXR. What is our Mydayis target patient... AXR PATIENT! So does the company want us to promote RXing Vyvanse and Mydayis for patients since our Vyvanse goal is based on this untapped potential and is our sole target for Mydayis? Just saying. Which this new Q3 goal adjustment, I would think, would eliminate the untapped potential. This would level the playing field. no more advantage to the reps who have no untapped potential because of the phantom poor managed care or limited access crap.

Totally agree!! No such thing as a 'glitch' in payroll or bonus calculation. I also agree with another poster that Shire knew for over a week or two that no such payment to the OBU was coming today.


I heard that the Zone Director for the Northeast told his direct reports to just 'manage this situation'. Real leadership on display right there.

I've been here over 10 years . This has NEVER happened. The bonus payout dates have always been in a range and sometimes it comes earlier or later than others. But we've never had a defined date then that day notified we aren't being paid . We had some issues in NBU q4 in terms of them not giving anyone a date. It was very shady, but once they defined the date it happened. If there was ever a bigger sign to leave it's this. Literally this is such a huge red flag. I never thought It would come to this after all of these years, but i can no longer stay here. The writing has been on the wall for 2 years and I wanted to believe it would get better. But this right here is just wrong. I'm so sorry to hear the OBU didn't get their bonus. That is the most unethical thing I've ever heard. I will not work another day for this place. I will be resigning as soon as I can find another opportunity and I hope all of you do the same. This is crazy. And they expect people to be motivated to trust or work for this company? Why would a Rep ever work again when they can't trust they will actually be paid? Perhaps phlegm can take some of his $25 mill a year salary and pay the OBU their bonus payout today. Wow just WOW

So for those who are not in the OBU what was the excuse?

Also one time the NBU was told a date and then they sent out an email the day the money was supposed to show up and said that the money would come the following paycheck. It was shitty because they all obviously knew.

The NBU got our bonus on time. I can't imagine a scenario that would mess up the OBU but not the NBU.
