How are the managers at Shire?

Most RD's in NBU are ok... they are good people and real world. It is the upper management that don't have brains... if u have a good job I'm not sure why you would be considering Shire though... it was a great company but things have gone down hill pretty fast. If your unemployed or miserable id say come on if you are employed and somewhat content I would say stay put. You wont be miserable here and your direct manager which matters most will likely be ok for you

The managers in the NE for the most part in Neuro are actually pretty good. Been here for a while and most of the reps like their direct manager. However, like the previous poster mentioned, beware of the upper management and leadership as well as some of the strategic decisions regarding the Neuro unit and decisions the company as a whole may be taking.
