Pay us and quit the bs with unattainable goals. They did it again this quarter. How many people crush it once their kids are back in school, but got demolished during the summer when they had no control and everyone knows how much scripts go down. They purposely are under or over-forecasting every single quarter now. Hey, when your patients finally come back to school, you will be at 80 percent, because of the way we goaled you. How many reps are at 110 percent with negative market share and are negative versus the market. Gotta love seeing your goals at the beginning and knowing you have no shot whatsoever. Goal attainment is a joke anymore, where you live, how fast your market is growing and The Shire goal setting process determine how well you do anymore. Not to mention coverage
 


















I agree it's us old timers that built this ship. We made Vyvanse what it is. You newbies are riding our coattails. Heck most of you newbies can't even sell. Your sales call consists of talking about manage care and coupons. That's it, you can't even articulate to the doc disease state or clinical trials.






Even without a severance and "free money", people are leaving at an alarming rate. We will never truly know the full extent because they aren't hiring for those open positions so they won't be posted.

Just to add, the people who have been here the longest haven't been riding the "gravy train". Let's get this straight. We built this MF'in company to what it is. Instead of being a bitch, recognize that it may be a bullshit company now, but that's due to Flem, PS and worst of them all KC and MR. This has nothing to do with the people who built this place. This is about the "leadership" who are turning this once highly thought of company to shit. I'm just sorry you weren't here long enough to see what true leadership looks like. This launch, this company has turned into such a joke
 


















i left shire in the last year for every reason stated in this post. I can honestly say it's one of the best decisions I've made in years. I don't know what took me so long now that I'm on the other side and work for a real company where I'm treated like an adult, trusted, paid infinitely better, not penny pinched or lied to, and given real attainable goals that make sense, not ridden with constantly, no call goals, and so far real leadership that seems to actually get it. It's crazy how ingrained you get when you are here so long and don't want to give up on what used to be a great place. My advice to everyone who feels this way is to get out as quickly as possible. Stop wasting time working for these dead end idiots who will do nothing but steal from you and lie to you and keep the bar set just out of reach so you can never achieve their standards. They don't want to pay the reps and this will not change as long as the people in charge remain. If shire has used you, use them by networking and getting another job on their dime. And save the fired troll and that's a fact jack replies. I was not fired, I was in great standing with the company and left for an infinitely better job and couldn't be happier that I'm gone. I feel terrible for anyone who is still putting up with this place. There are far greener grasses out there I just takes time to find them so start now. You don't have to put up with this any longer
 

























Who cares what market share growth and change vs. Market and the rest of those numbers say?? WE ARE PAID ON GOAL ATTAINMENT. Some of you sound as dumb as those setting the goals... I for one am not going to complain. I am making more this year than ever before. Do my numbers always match my goal attainment? Who cares. It doesn't matter. I'm only concerned with Goal Attainment because that is what my pay check reflects. I advise others to start focusing more on that number as well and stay out of the clouds.

You are either a liar or never worked for a company that actually pays for performance. If this is the most you have ever made, you are not good at your job.
 






So you're saying you are not a good rep. You don't need to grow Vyvanse to hit goal. And that is the very issue Neroscience has. The BU is chalked full of 2nd rate reps killing goal attainment but they are losing market share, and can't keep up with the market. That makes you a terrible rep!!! The only reason you are making goal is because even a blind squirrel will find a nut when they are in a field covered with them. As long as your market is growing more than forecasted you'll get enough RX's without having to work.

I totally agree with this post, but please tell me what company you would recommend going to where they treat you like "an adult". I would love to go to a company like that...asap!
 


















Biotec experience is usually a must for these companies.
oncology , orphan drugs , hematology, anything highly specialized. Yes a lot require experience but keep knocking until they let you in and network your ass off on linked in, recruiters , former shire reps. Anyone and everyone. Also do not mention calling on any primary care. All psychs and neuro it ups your chances .
