Get NIMBLE

Enough already. This experimentation in the NBU has gone on long enough. We want to see the continued success of Vyvanse and the rapid acceptance of Mydayis.

So please nimbly fix these things.

1. Retire the divided sales force. This has created a lopsided sales unit. One side has all the growth opportunity. The other has little growth opportunity for Vyvanse and virtually none for Mydayis. This is not an effective way to deploy the sales force.

2. Once the sales force is no longer divided, fix these inefficient geographies each territory has. Less driving means more sales calls.

3. Stop the Xiidra calls. The Neuroscience reps calling on eye care professionals has not yielded anything but further evidence that our senior leadership is careless. No one in leadership has been able to convincingly convey that this collaboration is successful.

4. Reconsider the contract sales force. As it stands, the contract sales force will have more opportunity to sell Mydayis than the PED reps. Why have a contract sales force introduce a new Shire medication instead of people that have been selling in this space for years?

5. Please set your egos aside. Recognize that our current situation is not optimal for the success of any products and nimbly remedy.

agree with all above
Nothing will change, no accountability at the top, they blame the sales force for any shortcomings and ignore the fact that they created the shortcomings

Contract sales is definitely the future and the sooner we adopt this business model, the greater the profits will be for our shareholders. Cost justified in every aspect.

Sure it is, big wig. So is sending all mfg to Mexico. Why don't we look into a contract management force and upper level management force? After all, that is where the big money goes. Fleming makes more than the "true" cost of every rep in the country combined.

It doesn't make your greed right either. It is inevitable that companies grow increasingly cheaper and want to maximize profits by not paying benefits to as many employees as possiblr and that is what it boils down to. We don't value you or your relationships or anything you do. You provide a service.

Right now shire management would not know a successful business model if it smacked them in the head.
The current business model in the NBU is poorly designed as well as in the OBU

Ninja reps, abandon BED, GEP cluster, no goals, promised contests, delayed bonus payments, the list goes on

Here's a business model to adopt- replace all you with contract senior leadership

That would provide greater accountability and results

Shire's business model is so bad, we are currently broke and about to be taken over. when you sell pills you can possibly justify a contract sales force. This company (unfortunately for many) is no longer all primary care drugs. biologics and plasma cannot be sold by contract
reps. it's idiotic to think as much. the people who say contract sales is the same as regular sales are the same people who got us into the shitty position we are in.

They don't even pay the points awarded unless we harass them until no end. How many people have their points from the team contests that ended a month ago? Shave kits? Please

All good advice for KC and MR,however they are not interested in anything sales has to say. They are only interested in what their paid consultants have to,say which is usually similar to,the smoke being blown up,their ass

MR and KC will never set aside their egos and admit defeat. They can't even acknowledge things are not going well now! I'm not sure which of them is worse. Both are completely incapable of doing the right thing and we will never succeed with them driving this sinking ship.

he's in the background making stupid decisions and letting KC take all the blame. Just listen to him talk at meetings his ego may be the biggest of all.
Totally agree. I can't stand to listen to him speak. He definitely loves himself even though he was handed the job too without earning it just because of his dad. I'm glad neither he nor KC did anything to actually earn their titles. Leadership is the blind leading the blind. No one has a clue.
