Electric vehicle garage fire

Multi-Billion class action lawsuit. One or two more and Pascal, Ruud, Joris, the homely ass CFO will all be fired for forcing these on the sales teams.

Pompous MF's. They care NOTHING about the people of this company, just perception and their own wallets.

Imagine a rep who loses their house and loved ones in a fire. You think they will just let it lie?

From what I understand, there was thankfully no one hurt but tons of damage to the house. As having the installed charger was an AZ mandate for employment with no exceptions, this does seem to open AZ up for a sizable law suit. Will be interesting to see what AZ will now do when reps say they don't want a charger in their garage due to fire concerns when there is no option to place the charger outside.

So sad for the colleague and family that lost their home…
If the company has any clue they’re immediately making revisions to this program, I also suspect there will be a lot of damage control and resistance to continue driving these vehicles. I’m concerned now and have many questions. Way to go AZ!

I’m supposed to be getting my charger installed soon and this is making me very hesitant. Is it an option to have the chargers installed outside? Not that I really want that eyesore in my yard either. This whole situation is so messed up. I envisioned myself staying at AZ for a while, but this might not make it possible for me to do so.

Talk to your installer and see what they can do to put the charger elsewhere.

I wonder what type of car it was. GM recently put out an advisory to not charge the Bolt in the garage. Well, that's what they made us do!

Now the new reps are getting Teslas!

This is very concerning. How close does a colleague need to get to losing a family member before the powers that be reverse course. I truly don’t believe they give two f$*$s about our safety. They are layers of legal protection from it ever affecting the
Or their bottom line. Maybe some bad press could help the cause? The voiced concerns from their employees certainly won’t.
