Contract Manufacturing or OEM?

A headhunter has contacted me and presented a sales position with a ortho-spine contract manufacturer. I've been working within engineering - quality for a spinal OEM. Any comments the quality of life working for a contract manufacturer - verses a mid-sized OEM? thank you

argh... contract manufacturing! You want to be an OEM a$$-wipe?.... prepared to be flushed. Contract manufacturing is a place where the OEMs dump their unwanted needs. If you're late by a day, you're crap and about to be replaced. Stay with the OEM!
