In our Region we have territories that are between 70 and over 125. We have territories that are pulling in over 100 Xiidra weekly and those that bring in less than 50. No under performers. All high market share territories. That why we have buckets and baselines.

As to why there are people that continually post doom & gloom and fake info- they love to see reactions there are people who love it when the thread they started goes to 4 or 6 pages. They post over and over, sometimes as different people, agreeing with the OP. It's a social media phsychosis. A feeling of importance. Most of you are on other social media-you know what I'm talking about. They thrive off of this shit. Look at the times some are posting. In the middle of the night- they are on cafe pharma??? Read a book folks!

What REAL NEWS have we gotten from CP? Did we find out about KKs removal here?- no! How about the contest?- no! Was it CP that informed us of Bob's promotion? How about Vickers from R&D leaving? Have we gotten ANY real news here? No, we have not. The only thing that has come from reading CP is FEAR and a bit of DRAMA. (And a laugh or two on occasion)

Maybe it's just the NBU that learns things from CP. We didn't know KK was removed from head of sales until it was posted on CP. they eventually did send out an email about it a month later sharing the good news. We also found out here first that our wonderful head of sales was discouraging us from taking a vacation with our family (might I add, on the first year we are no longer allowed to roll over any vacation days and they took away 2 sick days) but no vacations from June through September. It came out a week or so later... but don't pretend this site is all about the drama. Much of what is being said is the truth. Like it or not. (*Once the stupid shit is filtered out, there is a lot of truth here)
 






the more one reads the Shire cap, one realizes that it is a third rate company, managed by fourth rate management, with second rate reps.
Time to leave folks. Going into WM management. A real company with real people, products, and ethics. Totally unlike Shire.

However, as the last poster stated, you do find out things that are going on within Shire that are never discussed.

When I talk to tenured Shire reps they are as concerned as newbies like myself at the shift they are seeing within the company.

As an OBU rep, I'm concerned. I don't hate Shire, but my experience tells me something is not right and our leadership is not leading, only reacting.

Xiidra is only 10 months old! Feels much longer, but the race has just begun.

I'm passionate about Xiidra, my ECP's, and helping patients.

But I'm also a realist. Allergan/Restasis has a 13 year relationship. Personalize it, have you been in a 13 year relationship? No matter how good or bad it is, when it ends, things don't just change in a heartbeat.
Excessive calls, cheesey marketing pitches, don't grow business. Honesty and respectful persistent do, and, helping them solve a problem.
 
























Good question. With new leadership, I believe a re-org is coming. Not so much a layoff, but adjusting of regions/ RD's, etc.

I know quite a few RD's that are looking, so they must have been given a heads up.

Exactly, OBU is PC. We may be calling on specialty but they treat us like children with all the metrics and BS. The unreasonable goals. This month has been a breath of fresh air being left the hell alone to be in territory. Now if they'd just get rid of the check the box 8 calls a day bullshit. It's about QUALITY NOT QUANTITY!

Am I alone in feeling like my ECP's are getting Xiidra fatigue?

I know it's my job to "sell" and move business, I get it, I'm a professional.

We have moved from specialty to PC reps in less than a year and I know that my md's have noticed the shift and once the NBU came marching in, we lost our uniqueness and became just like Allergan. Sad. Thx KK.

No you're not alone, many of us feel the same. Especially those of us who have been in eyecare a long time. It's sad, demotivating, and embarrassing!

It's not just the Co-promote that's embarrassing. The "blitz" before Christmas was embarrassing, not being able to answer or talk about anything is embarrassing, the NBU Co-promote it's embarrassing, the ridiculous expectations/goals, the lack of directions...I could go on and on
 






What gets me out of the car is the 10x10 contest!

Please, for the love of God Shire, please pull the plug on the NBU co-promote. It's silly, annoying, and desperate.

Let us take ownership of our business again!

I guarantee if you examined national share closely, when Queen KK began to metric and call the shit out of us, that's when the trend started downward then flat.
