The problem with Galderma is that there is no long term vision. The CEO Fleming is only here to take the company public. He has zero care in the word for employees, customers or the long term. That is his job. His fiduciary duty is to make the EQT shareholders get a big return on their $10 billion investment. Problem is that Galderma isn’t doing well because of RX, consumer and the looming recession and war. This is Valeant 2.0. If EQT were smart they would get rid of Fleming and hire back Alisa or anyone with a brain and bring the morale and focus back to this company. This is a long term play EQT. You won’t make your money back in the next year or so. Deal with it. You bought high and at the top of the market. Get over it and get over Fleming. He’s not the right person to lead this company in this economic environment. If you want to get a good ROI on your investment you should focus on keeping the morale of the salesforce high. People don’t give a shit anymore because you aren’t paying people to sell anymore. That’s a huge problem. Your quotas are demoralizing and as realistic as the tooth fairy. Stop screwing over the people that can make or break your investment. This was a wonderful company pre fleming. Now he turned it into poo poo.
 




Everything is rosy when people achieving sales goals and making money. The company has been very lazy the passed 5 years with people management. Half of the RM team has no clue how to manage. They have been promoted because they had good performance, when everyone had good performance. The Area Directors that are promoting people into higher roles, have never actually spent time them. Have never seen how they handle adversity. Reps are leaving now. The RSMs will be leaving next. It’s not their fault. They just have never been prepared for dealing with tough situations. EB has been promoted all the way up the ladder without ever physically being in a sales reps or manager car, he has not physically been in an aesthetic office in ten years. Same with some of the area directors.

Agreed. Plus, when EB stabbed Lask in the back and disparaged Fine to gain power, you all were f’d. EB bragged about his comp plan but now I hear he is scratching his head trying to figure out what to do. When I was at Galderma, Todd Z wanted to fire him but demoted him to GAIN training. That was a mistake by TZ because EB recovered and TZ promoted AG in the East. AG was the AG in other threads and had to be shifted West.
 








If a leader (Flemming) replaces/fires most of the leadership team, who is the real problem? How much longer can he continue to blame others for poor performance? Unrealistic sales targets for North America are handed down and leaders are fired when they are not met. How can a company gain momentum when our leadership team is a rotating door?
 




Its so darn obvious what is wrong with Galderma. The company was doing amazingly well when Alisa and Drew and the rest of the leadership team were here. Flemming has no clue how to run this business and got rid of the top talent so he can flex his muscle and show who's in charge. If EQT were semi-smart they would remove Flemming immediately to stop the bleeding. All bad things came when Flemming was put in charge. Such a shame that 1 person can wreak so much havoc on an organization. EQT- Wake up and get rid of this guy. IPO isn't happening. Sorry thats the reality. Cut your losses when you can and look at this as a long term investment- not a way to make a quick buck. We've got Donald Trump running this place now.
