CHALLENGER SALE! Has nothing to do with pharmaceuticals. The example they used in the book was made up to give asshole organizations like Abbott a feeling like they can get more out of us. Clearly a Challenger Rep would not work in an industry where the government reigns supreme. This book is great for a product rep who sells directly to the customer. We should be reading a marketing book because thats what we do. Promotions and marketing with the occasional close. Good Book otherwise!

Dude, at least get your facts straight. Most of us don't leave samples, either. We just sit in Panera Bread all day polishing up our resumes while our humongous paychecks are direct deposited in the bank. Cha-ching!!
