I have been on Vascepa for about 6 years, and my co-pay has always been $9, and now -with the generic available, and preferred- my co-pay for branded Vascepa is $80!?..No thanks, I will take the generic with a $0 co-pay, and I imagine so will everyone else...

It sounds like there is an issue with your pharmacy plan and not Vascepa!

Do you have a high deductible Health Savings Account? That is probably the reason, you have to pay the deductible first. CVS Caremark and PBMs like them are known for doing this. You first have to pay your deductible and won’t allow the money the company puts in to fill the deductible! They are the real PIGS!!!
