The company is extremely disorganized. Too many meetings with little to no notice for planning.

We were recently acquired and there didn't seem to be a real plan in place on how the two companies would be integrated. My direct report knows less than I do and instead of profiting from my knowledge, chooses to criticize the differences in company culture and approach.

Flamel Technologies is a soulless and amateur pharmaceutical organization that puts extreme pressure on underpaid pharmaceutical reps without providing them with competitive products and fair insurance coverage to compete against competition. The company also fires new people in less than six months if they are not meeting their sales goals even though the sales goals are out of reach for most of the salesforce. Also, CEO, Mike Anderson lied to the salesforce of the company his company recently acquired in February 2016, FSC Pediatrics. He said that he wouldn't be laying off any of the newly acquired salesforce which was a lie. In June of 2016 he reduced the salesforce by approximately 10% with the excuse that the approximate 10% were not meeting sales expectations when about 75% of the salesforce wasn't meeting sales expectations. Flamel Technologies is an awful organization to begin a pharmaceutical career in and it's a significant step down for people who come from bigger pharmaceutical companies.
