Upper management is run by men who can’t improve the increasingly toxic environment. It’s a good ole white boy network with an almost all white sales force. Managers need 360 evaluations. Could become an HR nightmare.

HR allows managers to harass employees and do not do the right thing when concerns ar brought up. Bad managers know there is no accountability. They don't have to fear any consequences of their illegal behavior.

I love the job because I have the number one SGLT2 and Anticoagulant on the market in my bag. Partner that with the responsibility of developing and nurturing relationships with HCP's (one of my strongest attributes) and its almost as if I'm stealing money. Getting paid to do what I love to do....create and foster relationships.

Worst managers in the industry. Reactionary senior level decision makers. Culture of blame the guy below you; Sales reps are garbage to upper management and home office and they are treated like it.

Managers ride with you on average of 25% of your sales time (4days a month). They use an extensive matrix to evaluate you that isn't designed to help develop you but to document any and all perceived inadequacies subjectively to your manager's need to appear valuable. Everything is about HR, documentation, follow up and evaluations. Territories are 4-5 hours wide and most require multiple overnights each month. Bonus is largely unattainable as goals are impossible given managed care access and marketing strategies. STAY FAR AWAY IF YOU VALUE YOUR CAREER AS A PHARMA REP.
