My employer doesnt know the definition of the word "transparent".
They think it means "to spew bullshit" or "Lie" or "the people working for me are dumb & they'll believe anything that I say".
GSK was once a great company with strong leadership, best in class products with an engaging culture. However that was the GSK of the past. It's no wonder they stopped playing the Proud song "What have you done today to make you feel proud" as those left with any tenure are holding out hoping they can retire with medical benefits
Three years ago this was the best job I had ever had. Now the culture is so bad. The management are almost entirely internal promotions with no management experience. There are so many HR issues it is laughable, but no one in HR does anything to support you if you say anything. You just get a red X on your back and are targeted to be fired.
micro managed; too heavy on top down approach; small bonus payouts even when you get one; upper management just follows AZ's lead; follower not a leader.
Great company great products great customers, but management is horrible. Comp plan is set up to fail. Take away 5% of compensation for every 1% miss until you are zero below 80%. Works great if the company gives you an attainable forecast. But they don’t. 75- 80% of the sales force every year does not get paid or make well below the stated Comp plan.
The company has no idea what they are doing, they have one guy who calculates reps ICP and pay outs on an excel spreadsheet and is always sending out wrong numbers and rankings, small pharma is a joke
