Second aMoon Venture Fund Nears $750 million Cap

Israeli-based life sciences, healthcare, and technology venture capital firm aMoon is on pace to reach its hard cap of $750 million for its second fund. aMoon was Founded in 2016 by Yar Schindel, the former CEO of Israel’s National Digital Bureau, and Marius Nacht, the co-founder of firewall pioneer Check Point Software Technologies Ltd.

Schindel announced the fund was near the hard cap in a Linkedin post. In the post, he said the fund has secured commitments from more than 50 sources. He expects the number of sources to reach 70+ by the time the fund closes in December.

The fund will focus on mid-to-late stage companies in the biopharma, medical device, and digital health arenas.
