Sanofi forms nonprofit unit to provide essential medicines to some low-income countries

U.S.-listed shares of Sanofi SNY, +0.76% gained 0.7% in premarket trading on Wednesday after the company said it has formed a nonprofit business unit that will provide 30 essential medicines to 40 lower-income countries.
