J&J's Ethicon and Spain's Grifols Release 1st Product Out of 10-Year Collaboration Deal

Barcelona, Spain-based Grifols announced that with Johnson & Johnson’s Ethicon, it received approval to market Vistaseal, a fibrin sealant to manage surgical bleeding. The sealant was developed by Grifols and combines two plasma proteins, fibrinogen and thrombin. The spray is administered with New Jersey-based Ethicon’s airless spray device.
