J&J's Alex Gorsky set to step away from CEO role, handing the reins to Covid-19 czar Joaquin Duato

Alex Gorsky, the CEO whose nine-year tenure at J&J was marred by lawsuits over the company’s talc baby powder and opioids, will step away from his role in January in favor of Joaquin Duato, the vice chairman of the executive committee and the man tasked with leading the company’s Covid-19 response.
