Boston Scientific to discontinue Lotus Edge TAVR program

In a surprise announcement Tuesday morning, Boston Scientific said it will discontinue its Lotus Edge transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) system following a voluntary recall of the device's delivery system. The company said the entire Lotus product platform will be retired immediately.
