To the first person, been doing device sales for over 10 years with no degree. First 2 years as asr, but hell, I couldn't grow facial hair yet so I didn't care. As the asshole stated above, don't let others tell you what you can and can't do. I was making their entire college loan shortly after I turned 20. Sure I took a few classes, can't not have some fun while your young. Get a job in sterile processing if a distributer won't hire you to drive or do warehouse work, and learn/bother all reps that go through SPD until one hires you. I have seen lots of hired reps from hospitals in smaller cities. Go to a distributer and work for free for a few months to prove how bad you want it and can do it. They love that shit. Good luck, and don't listen to all the haters who say you can't do it. I am proof you can.

Just print up a degree, nobody checks these days if you go 1099 route. I know a handful of reps that have lied about college degrees. You can get one online over the summer of you really wanted. Point is this business is looking for younger generation who doesn't want the big bucks out of the door. Accept less pay now and your in young, reap the rewards later. Go for it, Arthrex loves new blood in the industry. Try there first but don't stay long, as you will see but you will get your foot in the door selling to DPM's ect. Let us know!

You should get the degree. There was a time when you could get around it if you worked hard and showed you care about what you are doing. Those days are gone. Most companies won't even talk to you about anything other than entry level if you don't have a 4 year degree of some kind. You can get a degree in your offtime and maybe get the company you work for to pay for it. I have seen many talented and hard to find employees get turned away recently over this issue. Remember, most people with degrees (including the person interviewing you) will always downgrade you in their minds if you don't have one. It's crazy but also true in todays world.

Like sucking a schools dick? I have a degree, but only because I paid for it instead of "earning" it as you would put. Schools are a joke these days, pure business. You can learn more watching discovery channel in between Jerk off sessions. Only people who are serious about school are idiots who took out massive loans and feel like they need to tell everyone else they are better then them. In reality they need to realize hey made a poor choice because hey wanted to go to he same school as dad did and keep our family tradition strong. Merica.

Enter the guy who spent over 100k on a degree and didn't get any pussy in college. No wonder why it hurts so bad.

You're an asshole...probably still reliving the days when you "scored four touchdowns in one game at Polk High" and bragging to your sycophant buddies (sorry, college word...you'll need to google it) about all the fat chicks you picked up at 2 AM. Grow up and get therapy in your down time between push-ups and porn.

now would be a good time to start pushing your way into Zimmer or Biomet. Reps will be leaving, especially if they work in teams as pay will be cut. Mangers that just manage teams cannot and will not be able to make what they make now in the soon to come structure, so fat will be cut or reps will jump on these large offers from competitors when they learn they will have to sell more to make less.
