Just heard that new two generic entries are coming to market to compete against Premarin Cream!!!
We are having a really tough time growing this market and now with a generic version we are facing an uphill battle. No worries, a generic viagra is on the horizon and our jobs will be safe!!!!!!!

 

Unless we can improve our positions with the formularies that now rule what Drs. write, our futures will be difficult. The good news is that Duavee maybe making a comeback soon with a new indication and better marketing that the fiasco we endured last time. If none of this happens, its possible that the company will return Women's health to contract sales, which did very well selling it. I think someone in the ELT really likes Women's health, so I truly believe we are safe for a number of years, perhaps 5!

 

You are dreaming!! Premarin cream will not make plan moving forward and we will go the way of Neurology!!

 

what do you mean by going the way of Neurology? what happened? I thought there were reps calling on Neurologists.

 

The Psychiatry and Neurology teams ( promoting Rebif for MS) were dissolved. There maybe SHR's on the primary care side for Lyrica calling on Neurologist but there is no Neurology specialty team. Women's health will be fine. People love Premarin Cream and patients will fight for it and demand it. Plus you have the oral tabs and lets not forget about the resurgence of Duavee. E-string is kicking ass too!

 

I agree 70 years of sales will continue. We may not dominate but we will compete with the best!!! Women's health will be viable for years to come!!

 

We are safe, talks are going on to purchase a product that is suppose to be blockbuster in Women health. We couldn't buy the company but we sure can buy the division. If this product is as good as predicted, we may even have an expansion. Stay put, do not leave Women's health! You will regret it!!! Once this product is ours and it will be, we are GOLDEN!!!!

I call BS!!!!! We are safe but not because of new product! We are safe because Pfizer thinks we can still gain some market share from this old horse ( pun intended).

 

I agree Womens health maybe in decline but it still contributes HUGE dollars to the bottom line. Think about it(Premarin) makes millions and its been around forever with no generic in sight. We may not be able to grow it but management knows that and we still are making money!! Yes, I think we are all safe for many years to come!!!

Great meetings in NY, we are definitely safe. If you only knew what the plan was you would not even worry. Pfizer values us BIG TIME!!!!!
