There may have been a perception of hype that did not mesh with the reality of an inferior product that needs alot of further work, but of course that is expensive, and leads to a more expensive and more slowly manufactured product. Look at the company Protein Sciences in Meriden CT to figure this one out. Dirty, sloppy insect-cell based products may have along way to go. Glaxo succeeded with Cerverix, but that's a different insect and they spent alot of money to get that approved. And it was not worth it.

There were a number of cookie jars involved- organic and inorganic.

The grand jury convened yesterday, so there should be some news in a few weeks.

The next phase has started for plea bargaining. Trying to get a reduced or no sentence in exchange for complete cooperation.

His lawyers quashed the extradition and he is now back in the US as COO at Takeda vaccines. Poor Takeda.
