Peer reviewed clinical data? This isn't pharma. Since when do any of the companies use that kind of data? You think they do that with their staplers when they go against Ethicon? Think they had that kind of data when they launched Ligasure? Fuck no.

That's not what that says at all. The point is that Covidien, Ethicon, Olympus or whoever, doesn't sell on peer reviewed clinical data either. Do they sell clinically? Yes and we will have to as well but no one has clinical papers touting their products (unless they've funded the research themselves). I will say that most of the Applied reps are not ready to sell this product clinically, which is why it will take longer to get this into places.

 

Yes they did fuck head. Check out there website and see the data that proves what size vessels can be sealed and in what kind of procedures.
Your right this isn't pharma. Pharma pays better, gives you a car, has matching 401ks, lots of vacation, are publicly traded, and do Billions in sales. A mid sized pharma company's marketing spend is more than applied does in annual sales. They also stay at their companies more than 18 months. Oh yeah forgot the expense account. Keep selling Fios !!!!

 

They all have data. And yes it's funded themselves, who the fuck else is going to pay for it???? Get Said out of your head for a sec. Funding studies is a cost of doing business to prove that harmonic has less thermal spread and that ligasure seals faster. Facts that are proven. Then thier reps sell on the pros and down play the cons. Applied has brainwashed you into thinking that paying for studies is a waste of time and money. No he's just to cheap !!!! If companies didn't find studies they would just be 25 pt abstracts that get published in shit journals in non USA sites = worthless data. Sorry Alexis team.

 

A fairly reliable source in RSM has indicated to me that Applied is considering another recall on voyant devices.

 

Don't forget the pig studies! Oh yeah, and Applied doesnt believe in doing dinners or buying a doc a sandwich because THAT'S what is driving up the cost of healthcare. I quit this joke of a company years ago and laugh at what Applied brainwashes you into believing can/can't do. Read the Advamed Code if you don't believe me.
