So they will just have to pay a fine then it will be business as usual for reps. Not the first time the doj has investigated a device company and won't be the last

What do you consider a big one. MDT just spent 49 Billion (that is with a B) on Covidien. Even if they get slapped with a $100 million fine, it will not affect MDT like other companies.

when the investigators figure out that the two whistleblowers are a couple of mentally unstable, wackjobs looking for a whistleblower cash out, they will be close the case and move on.. and those two will remain unemployed for a long time as the word is out on who they are. oh well. Walmart is hiring..

medtronic is settling their last couple of DOJs for just over 1million each.

Their high-paid lawyers know what they are doing. Even better, they are buds with the DOJ - they give just enough that these government regulators look good to their bosses and move on.

If you are aware of misconduct by Covidien employees why not report it through a whistleblower attorney to FDA? You will receive 50% of the fine imposed on the company.

Beware unethical idiots and their bosses - honest people are watching you and taking notes for your trial. You cant get away with that illegal shit anymore! Ignorance of the law is no excuse!

Hmm.. how does anyone know who the whistleblower is, as until anything gets filed in a court, its unknown.. havent heard of anything in the news about a Wb case against them.. when did that happen?
guess its ok then for Covidien mgmnt to start spreading rumors about someone that could affect their entire career/ Wow, great company to work for..
