Vacation Days in Biotech/Pharm

What is the typical amount of vacation days I can expect in the Biotech/Pharma industry? Is the 180 day trial period where new employees can't take any vacation days for the first 180 calendar days common?

Also, for those in the QA/QC field, what are the typical hours that entry level associates work?

You can expect 2 weeks vacation as new employee, if you have 10 years experience, you can usually negotiate for 3 weeks. There typically isn't a requirement that you be there 180 days before taking vacation.

I'd say 50 hours/week.
