I've started a new reference lab and am trying to determine what fair market value salary or hourly wage for a toxicology rep. Can anyone give me guidance to keep within legitimacy of these monies. To not violate anti-kickback laws. I am totally legitimate and am looking for guidance. I can give you my email to reply. thank you in advance.

It is a violation of anti-kickback laws to pay "per cup", according to my attorney.

Then go ahead and just pay a base salary no commission. Make the base $250k-$300k

That's what we wanted to do to deal with the "per cup" problem. I would gladly pay $250k.

Great. Then I think I'm worth $300k annual. That would be fair and sustainable in the era of health care today

The question moving forward is not only how much are they going to pay you but how? No lab can pay per specimen any longer.
