are we not all accessories to sociopathy, because we accept or ignore the truth we work for them?

I can't speak on the business end of this all, but what i have seen is a total decline in morale. People are jumping ship left and right making any continuity impossible. I think the problem is simple, if it isn't broke, don't fix it. When people are happy they work better and live longer. When you pressure everyone into constant compliance, they never work at ease or with any inspiration to do better.

Alcon is ready to wear its' sexiest dress, F me shoes and drop its' panties for the first decent suitor to buy us away from NVS. Granted we may not be the prettiest girl on the block anymore but we'll put out to close the deal. If you really want to get it done we could use a facelift, tummy tuck and a fresh set of fakies. Let's face it, we're downright ugly.

Is that what the new cafeteria is all about? Making us look good on the outside.

Noavartis is to Alcon what ObamaCare is to the Health Care industry. In other words nothing but bureaucracy, red tape, added confusion and pure chaos to the system.

Are Novartis' problems still all centered around their idiotic Quality assurance director and managers? They'd manage to drive a bus with no wheels over a cliff.

NVS bus central took off the good working wheels ,replaced it with cheaply made 2nd hand wheels, assigned clueless driver who drove it over the cliff.

All we want for Christmas is Novartis to sell us to any surgical company. These people just don't get it.

Alcon was such a great company. It took Novartis only a few years to tear down what took decades to develop.

    Thanks for nothing Novartis.

First of all brisket is really important, this can not be understated.
Second the only tools around these here parts are the ones who fly in from elsewhere and don't respect the art of a fine brisket.
Next no one expects Trump to save Alcon but we sure as stink on a cow patty knew Hillary wasn't gonna be no help neither.
And obviously Novartis doesn't know its' AHole from its' elbows about nothing.

It'll be one giant hoot nany barn burner when these Swiss babies finally get the gumption and pull the trigger. YEE-HAW!!!

Actually, we did have an admirably strong pipeline of highly marketable new projects and were far from being a "bounch" (just FYI? that's "bunch", Sugar, not "bounch") of southern hillbillies. Quite honestly, Alcon researchers were an extremely diverse group (national and international), with a minimal representation from the "south". Furthermore, no one ever (at least no one with a lick of sense) expected Trump to save anyone. We'll be lucky if Trump manages to do the "no proverbial harm" to our country as a whole, let give aid to isolated corporate entities.

Unfortunately, any original ideas from R&D were shot down by the NVS know-it-all's upon "takeover". Too many Ivy League academics that had limited experience and knowledge in the field of ophthalmology when it comes to PRACTICAL applications. The ones that poo-poo'ed the decades of experience/knowledge of veteran Alcon researchers and chose to kick them out of the door in favor of wet-behind-the-ears millenials that had zero knowledge of what had/had not worked in the past. Keep in mind that Alcon was a VERY profitable company prior to acquisition by Novartis. A company that was highly respected. A company that was consistently voted to the top 100 employers, year after year. A company that quickly lost all respect/innovation/profitability after being acquired by Novartis.
