Rumor has it Basel is eliminating entire U.S. Sales force in response to increased U.S. regulations.
Some idiot ran a model of liability vs. ROI foe the rep, and I guess the value is no longer there.
Will announce end of Q3, phase out will take 3-5 years across ALL U.S. Divisions.

Major value in these new SAM positions. How many people can we cram down one accounts throat?

 

Aside from catering lunch, isn't this what we already do, drop samples and deliver literature? That they throw right away...

Hey, the SAM in my region does a great job of running around, asking what's 'wrong', and seeing who can be thrown under the bus

Accounts get a real kick out of it. We laugh after every visit and it makes lunch better

 

And no one sees it coming
