Anyone friends at HQ know about 2017 layoffs in Primary Care group? Thought it would happen by end of 2016, but we are still here. Any info would be appreciated.

I am in UG and I can assure you that if you are not looking for employment you are making a big mistake. Time is short.

Inventiv posting for Januvia overlay in WI in response to DF rep resignation. Sign of things to come? May be another diabetes position open soon in WI. Will be watching to see back fill situation.

There are several openings across the country and how they are treated will tell us everything.

A "B" rep in our area just quit and they announced they were not filling the position.

Field Force reduction through attrition. Better than a layoff. Only thing is, we are so thin already that it appears upper management has raised the white flag and is satisfied with treading water. Growth has gone dormant and the clock is ticking on our future.

Whatever the outcome rest assured that the person hired won't compromise the employment status of said ctl's wife. All about protecting the rep married to the hiring manager. Reps will be shuffled around to accommodate this sad situation. Shame on ALL ctl's who put this chess game together. Sacramento needs a serious intervention, HR ring ring.

Thank you, friend in UG. I'm looking for a severance package--ready to retire. Hoping for hand raising opportunity in in the very near future. Please keep us posted with any updates.

Human resources is on their way, plenty of trips to Sacramento over the years, bet they have tons of frequent flyer miles. Too late anyways, everyone is trying to leave.

So you are saying the manager's wife needs to decide what she wants and then positions will fill in around her accordingly? Has her work activity been tracked? HR & inquiring minds would like more information.

    Thank you

I was thinking April 1st (beginning of 2nd quarter) but March 1st makes sense too. Haven't had a restructuring of PC in almost 3 years.
