Some of the patients we have seen the last few years have been pretty authentic. But last year we had the pastor from Texas come up and this year the poor little rich girl come up and neither represented the heartbreaking reality of Clinical, Life altering, depression. Where are the dark circles under the eyes, washed out look and shaky voice? All we see are polished presenters or little college girls that are heartbroken. An insult to the truly mentally ill we serve on a day to day basis. Depression is raw, ugly and unrelenting, we are not going to get it bringing in these types of patients for a sit down on a couch by an Ellen Degeneres wannabe.
Wake up Lundbeck- if you want to tug at our heartstrings get some real patients to speak to us.

Agree patients are not realistic, just staged props for the show.
