hi! I'm really excited about my opportunity with the OBU.. Just finished my phone screen for sales specialist role with the hiring agency and they said they are moving me forward to the hiring manager. Does anyone know how long it will take to hear from the hiring manager? He said 1-3 weeks but that seems really long and too broad of a time frame. Any info would be great! Thanks

I heard the face to face has been pushed back because they need to hire management first.

Pretty sure everyone would be a "newbie" to this division. Thanks for the unnecessary response though.

I completed a phone interview as well for an Ophthalmology position. I was told he was passing me along the process and the next step was another phone interview with the hiring manager. All decisions will be made by March.

I call BS on this post. More propaganda by KK to make people think that reps are interested in this lame division. Run far away people, pay no mind to psycho woman VP behind the curtain.

Who is KK and why is she a bad deal? I was honestly just trying to find out more information about the process but now I want to know about her.

No local interviews? Atlanta is awfully far from the jobs.

Ignore the fired troll. He is one discontented poster who is on our site 24 - 7. Kathy is a great person and just do your job and everything will be fine. Take care and good luck in coming to the Shire family.

My guess is that they need to do some local interviews to get everyone they want. We had central site interviews last time around and had no shows and cancellations due to weather and difficulties with travel and the distance. Not a smart move to do these like this.

If you don't know then clearly you have not looked at these posts. Just read a few for a good idea if what goes on here. Trust me, the feedback is far from just "one troll". In fact the only one troll is the only one who defends these pathetic people. Ask anyone.

No, the post is true! I had a phone interview and my friend she finished his phone interview an hour ago. They are actively interviewing for the eye division

So when did they say your next interview would be?

Can any internal Shire reps shed some light on the pay range for reps in the Opth. specialty jobs?

this whole interview process is a compete waste of time - check linked in every single person they hired is from B & L - if you didn't work there you're wasting you're breathe

Agree especially if they're interviewing a herd of people. Don't want the interviews a thousand miles away unless its a final approval. Pick the unemployed they're the only ones who can fly where with no problem.
